Child care volunteers
Assist the Child Care Coordinator at the BerlinĀ or Ripon ELL classes once a week
Newsletter Editor
publishes the GLCLC newsletter quarterly
gets reports from the other volunteer coordinators on their respective projects
gets reports from the Learning For Living Coordinator
WIC Story Time Coordinator
coordinates volunteers to read books at the WIC clinics in Green Lake, Berlin, and Ripon
assists the volunteers in book selection (much help is available from the children's librarians; books are checked out from libraries)
maintains communication with WIC personnel (calendar of clinics, special events that may affect Story Time, etc.)
Raising Readers Coordinator
keeps track of which volunteers are stocking which racks
gets quarterly reports from volunteers on how many books have been placed where
keeps track of book inventory
makes sure labels are printed and books are labeled
Volunteer Recognition Coordinator
forms and heads a committee that hosts two volunteer recognition events each year
arrangements, invitations, refreshments, recognition gifts, etc.
